If you listen to the words of Brisbane nurse Claire Beckham you’ll realise that turning 30 is no big deal for a happily single woman such as herself.
“I’m actually really excited”
“All my girls are gonna be there and we really know how to party”
“Sure a lot of my childhood friends can’t make it cause they have kids and responsibilities but that’s their own fault”
The currently 29 year old Ms Beckham has spent the last few years of her life occupying the bar scene, hoping to meet a guy who reminds her of the man who broke her heart 4 years ago and who she imagined a future with.
Now her future is all about fun cause that’s what life is all about and she’s desperately keen to convince you of how much fun she’s having.
“You’re only as old as you act” She told us with a smile, misquoting an already dubious belief.
“Besides 30 is the new 20 these days.”
“Dirty 30. Wooooo”
The conversation continued along these lines for another 15 minutes despite our reporter never bringing it up and originally interviewing Ms Beckham for a completely unrelated reason.
